Well we meet our first characters In the small town of Stony Brook, PA. Bobby Pendragon is a perfectly normal fourteen year old boy. He is the captain of the Stony Brook Junior High Basketball team. His friend Mark Dimond and his Family are waiting for him at the school for the big game that night he is alone get ready for the game. When his crush, Courtney Chetwynde, comes to his house to profess her crush on him, but then in the middle of his first kiss. His Uncle Press Tilton pulls Bobby from his element and takes him to an abandoned subway station were the door to the territories and the adventure begins. He finds out that he is a traveler who is to save the territories from death and destruction caused by the evil traveler Saint Dane. Though he is reluctant at first he slowly begins to realize that this is the way it was meant to be.

Bobby Pendragon- The Traveler from "Second Earth"
Press Tilton- The Original Traveler form "Second Earth"
Courtney Chetwynde- Bobby's Crush
Mark Dimond- Bobby's Best friend who will receive his journals.
Saint Dane- The Evil Traveler
Loor- The Traveler from Zadaa
Osa- The Original Traveler from Zadaa
Alder- The Traveler from Denduron (the territory that Bobby first goes to)
