Why Harry and Hermione Won't Date

    To begin with I'm just going to point out that I think the whole idea of a H&H relationship is… ridiculous! I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm just saying that if they do get together, I won't believe it! Many people, however, seem to think that Harry & Hermione are perfect for each other. So this article will be different from all the others! Normally I see everything from two (or more) points of view. But this time, I'm just going to stick with the fact that they are NOT going to date! I will take clues that some people think indicates that they have something going on and say what I think about it…

Clue 1) Harry saves Hermione a lot- Well… I can't argue with the fact that he does, but I can argue with what it means! It basically means that they are friends. It doesn't even prove that! If a big giant would come towards anyone, Harry would still have saved them. Even if he didn't know who the person was, it's just a Harry thing to do… So clue number one means nothing!

Clue 2) Harry feels horrible when Hermione gets hurt and looks dead- Well duh! I would feel horrible if one of my best friends looked dead! Also, Harry felt guilty since he was the reason Hermione was there at all. If Harry hadn't insisted to go and save Sirius, they wouldn't be in that situation. There's no rule that says you can't feel sad if someone you're not in love with dies or gets hurt! What was he supposed to feel? Hmm... Hermione looks dead. Oh well, she's just my friend anyways.. Seriously! Let's get real! This clue means just as much as the previous one!

Clue 3) The hug in the second movie- Excuse me, but… May I laugh?! I'm really sorry if I'm being mean, but I'm just REALLY skeptical about this. I think it's pretty obvious that the hug is hinting towards a Ron- Hermione relationship, not a Harry-Hermione ship. I mean, when Hermione is done hugging Harry, she's about to hug Ron. They suddenly look really embarrassed and starts shaking hands instead. I would much rather hug my best friend than my best friend/crush. So this clue can join the rest!

Ok.. Now I'm going to give you some reasons on "Why Harry & Hermione won't date"

1) They are just friends- I actually have a lot to support this! When Hermione goes to the ball with Krum, Harry doesn't care (unlike someone else…). He says so himself, it doesn't bother him. If he liked Hermione as more than a friend, he's bound to care isn't he? Hermione doesn't seem to care that Harry dated Cho either. She actually tried to help him! I know Hermione is a nice person, but no one is nice enough to help your crush get a girlfriend!

2) They are to close- I have to point out that Harry and Hermione are so close friends that it's almost impossible to think of them as a couple. They don't fight (a lot). At least not enough to be a couple!

3) Hermione has other priorities- I've said it before and I'll say it again: Hermione will date Ron! I am almost 99percent sure this will happen! Of course, they could break up. But I don't think Harry would date his best friend's ex. It would be to Soap operaish…

4) Harry just got over Cho- Since Harry just got out of a "relationship", he probably needs some time without the ship complications and stuff. I'm pretty sure he didn't like someone else while he went out with Cho...

5) Where is the evidence?- At last, the final argument: There is no robust proof! If you have something you think proves a romance between the two, please send me an e-mail.

    Now to close this up, I'd like to apologize to all Harry/Hermione fans! I'm pretty sure you're all upset with me right now, but I'm just saying my opinion.
