Goshawk, Miranda Author of The Standard Book of Spells for grades 1 and 2. She is most likely the author of the Standard Book of Spells for grades 3, 4, and 5 too. Gryffindor, Godric One of the four powerful witches and wizards that founded Hogwarts. Gryffindor House is named after him Gudgeon, Gladys A huge fan of Lockhart’s that writes weekly to him. Hagrid, Rubeus: Gamekeeper and Care of Magical Creatures teacher at Hogwarts. He has a fascination with dangerous magical creatures. He is also a dependable friend of Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s. Hedwig Harry's faithful snowy owl. She seems to be particularly intelligent for an owl, and always know where to find Harry or his friends. Hengist of Woodcroft: A Chocolate Frog card character. Hermes Percy's screech owl that he received from his parents as a gift for becoming a Hogwarts Prefect. Higgs, Terrence The Slytherin Quidditch team's seeker before Malfoy. Hooch, Madam The flying instructor and Quidditch match referee at Hogwarts. Hopkirk, Mafalda A witch from the Improper Use of Magic Office at the Ministry of Magic. She sends Harry a warning after Dobby uses a Hover charm in Book 2. She also sends several other letters after the incident with Dudley and the Dementors in Book 5. Hufflepuff, Helga One of the four powerful witches and wizards that founded Hogwarts. Hufflepuff House is named after her. Humberto, The Great A person on a show
that Imago, Inigo Author of The Dream Oracle. Jigger, Arsenius Author of Magical
