First of all, I think
we'll never see Sirius alive again, or talk to him. (we might see him in more
memories or flashbacks though). I also believe that Harry's eyes would play an
important role in the next books. I say this because of several reasons: The
first is that JKR keeps mentioning Harry's eyes, and how similar they are to
Lily's, and the second reason is found on a interview held with JKR, where she
admitted they are sort of important. Dorris Crofford (I think I misspelled it)
makes rather a large amount of appearances during the series. She appears in the
first books and than in the fourth. I will go on and remind you that JKR usually
doesn't repeat stuff for no reason, so I think we will hear more about lovely
miss Crofford. I also think we'll discover something new about Crookshanks. JKR
already admitted that he is a part Kneazle, and he may as well have magical properties
that we don't know about. I also think we will find out that cats have
a significant role in the series. There are strong evidence that Harry Potter is
the hair of Gryffindor. Why? first reason: in book 1 we were told that Harry's
parents lived in GODRIC's HOLLOW. Remind you of something? (Godric Gryffindor),
and he also pulled the sword of Gryffindor out of the hat, that's a second clue.
Plus- JKR said that Harry's dad inherited a large amount of money. It is logical
that it was actually Gryffindor's money...I assume he was rich. I think we will
find out that Voldemort HAS A WEAKNESS, and it has something to do with the
ritual that took place at the end of book 4. I'm saying that for two reasons:
The first, when Harry told Dumbledore that Voldemort took his blood, Dumbledore
had a look of triumph in his eyes. That could be because that was a proof for
him that Voldemort had some sort of weakness, maybe the fact that he needed the
power of humanity and love, which brings me to the second clue, the prophecy
(book 5) the prophecy said that Harry has a power that Lord Voldemort does not
posses, and Dumbledore said it was the heart. Maybe the fact that Voldemort has
no feeling is his weakness, but I'm not sure about that.... that one is
tricky... Ron would find a girlfriend. The two possible options in my opinion
are Hermione and Luna Lovegood. Why? Because there are many signs that she
(Luna) has something for Ron. She laughs at his jokes, stares at him longingly
and just shows large amounts of affection towards him. ______________________________________________________ I think that we will find out something
MORE important about Petunia....(you know we found out that she is not a
stranger to the wizarding world in book5) I have this strange feeling she's a
squib. ______________________________________________________ About Harry being the
next DADA teacher: That actually makes sense! We already know that someone will
become a professor (JK said so) and it won't be Hermione.... the DA thing has certainly
proved that Harry will make a great teacher, also Dumbledore trusts
him. But there is a problem.... Isn't Harry a bit young to be a professor? I
mean, Dumbledore's supposed to know better than that that Harry has ALOT on his
mind right now.... and he's also just a kid... I believe there is a chance that
Lupin would be back.... though I don't see any clues for it.... but who knows?
Has anyone ever wondered what's with the teachers social life? they don't
seem to have one.... we have never heard of a professor's wife or kids... Isn't
it kind of odd? I am sure that we will find out more about their families. ______________________________________________________ Petunia can't be a squib...Lily was a 'mudblood',
so she had muggle parents. The only way you can be a squib is to have witch and
wizard parents, and you have no magic powers...my theory is that Petunia was
very jealous of Lily, and spent ages trying to learn magic out of books, in the
vain hope that she would become a witch...that is how she knew about Azkaban.
then, when she realized she would never be able to do magic she blamed Lily, and
became jealous, and hated her. That is when she shut her out of her life, and
ignored her completely... ______________________________________________________ I am absolutely, positively, totally, completely,
utterly, entirely almost sure, that Harry's Mom and
probably his Dad were Unspeakables working for the
Department of Mysteries in that locked room with the POWER
that Harry has so much of. That would explain how his Mom gave him such
powerful protection from the A.K. curse which is supposed to be one of
the three unstoppables. Whatever charm or spell his Mom put on Harry it
obviously filled him with that power. It's a good bet that Harry's career
plans change to an Unspeakable. ______________________________________________________ I have said previously that
Neville will surprise us all by discovering a cure for Werewolves. Well, since
reading OotP again I have noticed that Neville's Mimbles Mimbletonia is
mentioned a few times. First we hear about it on the train to school then later
first Ron and then Harry both say the name due to the fact that it is the
password to the common room. However on the return journey at the end of the
year the name is mentioned once again but just as a passing reference in what
Neville was doing. Therefore I believe that this plant has a future in the
series and could make Neville famous ______________________________________________________ Did anyone notice a slew
of missing characters in the 5th book? What happened to Bagman, Karkaroff, and
Wormtail? There was no mention of the first two at all, and Wormtail was noted
only in memories. That struck me as odd; they all had big parts in the 4th book.
I wouldn't have expected a lot on them, but at least some. News in the Daily
Prophet or something...but Wormtail is the one that really perplexes me. He is a
huge factor in Voldemort's return and he wasn't mentioned in the present at all
in the 5th book. I know it might've been lack of skill for the duel at the M.O.M,
but if Wormtail resembles Neville, then it seems Wormtail may prove more adapt
then we would have thought him to be. If he really put his mind to it, he could
be a somewhat good dueler like Neville. I know him showing up at the M.O.M would
shock a lot of people because he's supposed to be dead, but Sirius did it,
didn't he? Sirius was supposed to be on the run and he showed up at the M.O.M to
fight. I just think there were some missing pieces in the 5th book, and I hope
we'll hear about Bagman and Karkaroff eventually, though I think Wormtail's
absence sets him up for a big part in the 6th or 7th book. ______________________________________________________ I think that if Harry walks
past the Room of Requirement three times and really ______________________________________________________ I think that Harry will be able to talk to Black again. I think that
Dumbledore will have an enchantment on Black's old house (which will now be Harry's).
Black will become Harry's secret-keeper. When Harry or any other member that has
practiced Occlumency dream of the Order, then they would be able to talk to any
member in the Order. Dumbledore, or course, had only told Black about this, ______________________________________________________ I think that there is an important clue of what happens to Lupin at the end of
Goblet of Fire... Voldemort gives Lupin a silver hand. Silver kills werewolves. Why
else would JK Rowling write about Voldemort giving him a silver hand when it could
have been any other metal? But, also, Dumbledore said that Harry could one day be happy that he saved
Pettigrew's life, and he would be in Harry's debt... so this bond might save Lupin as well... hmmm... ______________________________________________________
I believe that the power
that "The Dark Lord has not" is in Harry's eyes. We ______________________________________________________ Remember when
Harry wanted to become an Auror in Book 5. The only way for him to achieve this
is to get an outstanding or higher grade on his potions O.W.L. exam. However,
the odds of that happening are pretty slim so wouldn't it make sense that
Dumbledore move Snape over to DADA. We know Harry excels at DADA, and probably
got an O or and E in that on his O.W.L. exam. Snape told his 5th year potions
class at the beginning of the year that he only accepts those students with Excellent
and Outstanding grades for his Potions 6th and 7th year classes. So, Dumbledore
sees Harry didn't do well on his potions test, and knows he wants to become an Auror, so he moves Snape over to DADA and brings in another potions teacher. Why
not? ______________________________________________________ I think Arthur
Weasley is going to become Minister of Magic. In book 5, Ron remarks to Harry that they have about as much of a chance of winning the Quidditch Cup as
his dad has of becoming Minister of Magic. Well, they do win the Cup...a bit of
foreshadow, maybe? I think this could really be a possibility because as we should all know by now, Ron usually isn't right except when he's just joking and not being serious... --Daniel
